“Just wanted to make an appreciation post for our new friend Oscar – we got his contact on a recommendation from some backpackers we met on a cruise 😊 He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and organize his transfer for us all the way from Hopkins up to San Ignacio then on to Flores (at a super reasonable price) as well as providing us with great local recommendations and introducing us to tour guides for our activities along the way 🙂 On the way between San Ignacio and Flores he made a detour for us to stop at Tikal and visit the ruins – without him we wouldn’t have had time to see them so really appreciate the gesture!”
